The Weyburn Work-Kin Shop has a new online presence, due in part to a recent contribution from the Community Futures Sunrise Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Fund. The Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop has been in the community since 1971, and now with this fully functioning website, they have a modernized look and feel to their corporate identity. “We knew that a website would enhance our ability to provide clients with timely information and service delivery. When the project funding from Entrepreneurs with a Disability came through, it was the jumpstart we needed to construct our website,” comments Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop Executive Director, Andria Brady. The website features the corporation’s services, employment and training opportunities, news, events, photo gallery and a newsletter signup form. “Our customers will be able to find out what we’re doing in the community, what new projects or services we’ve undertaken, and even search through our online job bank for employment notices. The photo gallery is a great feature on the Wor-Kin Shop website. It really celebrates the work we do within the community and how we impact the well-being of so many by the programs we offer,” says Brady.
